«Plein D’Amour -Ai ga Ippai-» is Kaori Iida‘s 4th album. This album follows in the same footsteps as her previous ones; music with a Mediterranean flare to them. This genre was dubbed as euro-enka by fans and some music critics because of the similarities to Japan’s own folk music style, enka. This album has both original songs in Japanese and cover songs in French and Italian. Taisei (Tsunku’s band mate) from Sharan Q produced this album

As for the title of the album; it is partially French and Japanese. The French part means Full of Love. Her official site stated she has compiled ‘love songs’ into a single album and it is targeted towards the same age group as herself.

The album was released on December 21st, 2005, to everyone’s surprise. I remember it suddenly showed up out of nowhere, and fans got really surprised she got to release another album after graduating from Morning Musume. Also, Atsuko Inaba, sings the chorus on songs #4, #7, #8 and #11.

It entered the charts at #28, and landed on the Oricon charts at #111, selling 6.952 copies. This is her lowest charting and lowest selling album.
